Celebrity Style Icon: Chrissy Teigan

Along with being the love inspiration behind one of our favorite love songs, ‘All of Me’ by John Legend; we love the authenticity, creativity and sense of humor of supermodel Chrissy Teigan’s personal brand. This brandista seamlessly balance her prosperous modeling career, being wife to John Legend and the 28 year old’s appearances as guest judge on “Smack Off,” MTV’s new cooking show.

Teigan’s style on the red carpet, magazine covers and during her celebrity appearances is authentic, with lots of swag. So far in 2014, the brandista has graced the cover of the highly-sought after Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Swimsuit Edition + various other covers. DuJour Magazine recently sat down with the celebrity style icon, as the brandista dished on some of her favorite beauty products, the unbelievable reason one clothing company fired her from a job (she was too big) and her love for cooking.

During the interview the Chrissy Teigan shared a few of her favorite beauty tips and regime:

What beauty products do you swear by?
I love SK-II facemasks and under eye masks. They’re soaking wet when you put them on, and then when you take them off they’re dry because you’re skin just absorbs everything. I love Aquaphor. And Benefit for their brow kits. I could go on forever. Oribe shampoo and conditioner is my favorite. If you’re a hairstylist and you don’t have that Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray in your kit, I don’t think anything of you.

You’re always traveling. What do you pack in your carry-on?
Aquaphor and tons of moisturizer. My face never looks better than when I get off a plane. Because I never wash my face before bed, ever, in real life, but on airplanes the second I get in my seat I use my face towels, I’ll use a nose strip, I’ll do everything. And I always have headphones with every different type of jack. Sometimes John and I watch the same movie so we have a splitter cable. That’s so cheesy.
